For years I have had clients ask me about mini sessions. I’ve tried them and offered them a few times. If I’m being perfectly honest though, I’ve never enjoyed shooting them. It’s literally the only time throughout my nearly 20 year career as a professional photographer that I didn’t enjoy shooting. It was the rush of the back-to-back sessions, pushing people in and out because there are 15 sessions booked in a day.
However, I’ve created a ‘work around’ that will still please my photographer’s heart and satisfy those of you who would really just prefer a smaller session.
I’ve just introduced a brand new package called “More Lovely Things of Paradise and Love”. Fun fact for all of my fellow literary lovers, all of my portrait session package names are Edgar Allan Poe lines! I know they don’t really make sense and don’t really describe the packages, but they make me happy so it is what it is.
Back to the new package! This is essentially a mini session but I’ve never liked that name (hence the Poe line instead). It will be available year-round but will also have extremely limited availability. I’ll be limiting the number I open up each month so definitely book in early if you know this is something you’re interested in. These sessions will be taking place solely at outdoor locations in Lumsden (sorry, there will be no exceptions to this aspect) and locations within Lumsden may be predetermined by Ali based on availability and bookings.
Full payment will be required to book in and hold a date for these sessions. The session fee is non-refundable, but can be transferred to an alternate date up to one calendar year from the initial bookings should you need to reschedule for any reason.
I know I said that mini sessions don’t make my heart happy but this option, truly does! If you have any questions or would like to book one of these new sessions, please send me an email to email@example.com or find me on Instagram HERE or Facebook HERE. I have more details and pricing for these new packages listed on my site HERE (just scroll down on that page until you see the picture shown below).
