Yesterday I had the privilege of photographing Kailey and Kevin’s wedding day in Regina! They were blessed with a rare, mild Saskatchewan winter day and some of the most beautiful light I’ve seen in a February afternoon.
They said their personalized vows within the Mackenzie Art Gallery in Regina and were serenaded by a family member singing Maren Morris’ ‘The Bones’ (it was such a beautiful choice for their ceremony!). Their vows made me SO happy – mentions of tabletop games, their cats who are named after Harry Potter characters, and just a whole lot of sweetness. It was perfect!
We spent the afternoon taking their wedding portraits, at a few iconic Regina locations before heading off to the Turvey Centre for their reception.
These two get bonus points for hosting a receiving line (this is probably an unpopular opinion because not a lot of people have them, but I LOVE receiving lines!), for their fun group shots with all of their guests at the reception, for the most warm and welcoming family, and for an incredible wedding party (Kevin’s side of the wedding party made me rank them in my ‘Top 3’ but let’s be honest, they earned it!)!
