This package was created for the lovers of a true lifestyle session. These sessions are entirely candid and will not include any posed images or shots with everyone looking at the camera and smiling. Instead, we’ll plan this session in your home or around a location you love to spend time, doing activities you enjoy experiencing with your loved ones. This session is for the clients wanting to showcase the interactions of families and couples, allowing personalities to shine in their own unique ways without the pressure of a perfectly posed and styled image. Intertwined fingers, hair flowing freely in the breeze, belly-laughter, and mismatched socks are all encouraged at these sessions.

General Housekeeping
– LATE POLICY : Please note that clients arriving to their session ten minutes or more past our agreed upon start time will kindly be asked to reschedule their session for the next available session date. Light plays a large role in my photography and the images we’ll be capturing together, as such, sessions are time-sensitive. Please note that a re-booking fee may be required if sessions need to be rescheduled due to tardiness.
-Payment is due no later than the day of your shoot (please note this is subject to change at any time and may vary for out of town sessions and portrait specials) and can be made by cash, cheque, or through email money transfer. If you are writing a cheque, it can be made out to Ali Lauren Creative Services and email money transfers may be sent to alilauren@live.com.
– Turnaround time for the completion of the editing of your images is approximately four weeks. Once editing has been completed, you’ll receive a link via email to your online gallery containing your high-resolution, retouched images.
-By booking in, you agree to trust the artistic discretion of Ali Lauren Creative Services regarding style, posing, and post- production of all images. All images will be edited in the consistent style found throughout Ali Lauren’s portfolio and recent work. Client can expect basic retouching in images which includes exposure, color corrections, cropping, and minor spot blemish removal. Additional editing requested by Client may be subject to additional fees. Ali Lauren will not include unfinished, or unprocessed images in Client’s collection. Clients are not permitted access to digital negatives or RAW files.
-Images given to clients are not, under any circumstances, to be used for personal profit or promotion or to be used in business or personal portfolios, contests etc. unless specific permission is given to said client. You are more than welcome to share your images on social media sites, but a credit to Ali Lauren Creative Services must accompany the images. Images may not be cropped, edited, or altered in any way. By booking in for a photo session with Ali Lauren, you are agreeing to these terms.
-If the temperature is below -15 C with the wind chill, rain is falling heavily, or the wind is over 50 kms per hour on the day of your session I kindly ask that we reschedule for a later date when the weather is more agreeable.
-If you need to reschedule your session, please provide as much notice as possible. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
-Please note that I store a copy of your delivered images for up to six months. I can not guarantee their storage past six months so please ensure you have a copy of your images saved on a second flash drive or external hard drive in a separate location from the delivered flash drive in addition to copy saved in an online cloud storage to ensure their safety.

What to Wear?
– Wear clothes you feel great in! If you feel good, it will photograph as such.
– Solid colors (however, please avoid neon colors) tend to photograph better than high-contrast prints. Please avoid bold logos on clothing.
– For couples and families, your outfits should coordinate/complement each other, but don’t feel the need to get too matchy matchy. Outfits in the same tones (either warm or cool) photograph great. If you plan on wearing the same color, try doing so by choosing pieces in varying hues or shades. Google and Pinterest have a wealth of ideas if you need some inspiration! – Most importantly, be yourself! Ultimately, this shoot is about you and it’s these little details that make the photos uniquely yours. *Please note, if you have a certain look in mind, we can find a location to coordinate your style/outfit choice as well so please do not hesitate to ask me about this.
– I’m all about the details, so please be aware that your hands etc. may be featured in a photograph, or two!
Most Important!
– Have fun and interact with each other! It’s my job to capture you as a couple or family, so show me your personalities. This shoot is all about you, so show me who you are.
– Families : Get your children laughing! Play with them. Please feel free to bring along a favorite book, toy, bubbles, etc. You interacting as a family is what I want to capture 🙂
– Couples : Flirt, laugh, smile, cuddle, play, hug, kiss, love! You’re in love and I want to capture it!
– I always give guidance for poses, body placement, etc. but from there, I encourage interaction between you and your family or you and your partner. It is my job to find the light and pose you, all I need you to do is have fun and enjoy yourselves 🙂
